Hello, Human being!
Since you are reading this now, you probably already know something about us. With a heavy heart, I have to announce that at this point Russian House#1 is at the stage of closing down. Our landlords, the O’Bryan family, have refused to extend our lease on the building at 9960 Highway 1.
Also, due to coronavirus pandemic we had to close our restaurant for dine-in service and right now we are open for take-out only. I have to admit, the present circumstances are deeply heart-breaking.
This place is more than just a business, it feels like home to us and it is hard to accept this unexpected and forced closure.
On the other hand, supposedly, the current global crisis is not accidental, the World is inherently good and all is one, then maybe life is showing us a new path and we really need to be coming back to Russia. Although I don’t dismiss a possibility that the meaning of the current events might be entirely different.
But what is it? If you have any idea about it, I would be happy to get to know it. It might help me clarify our next steps.
