Open yourself up through the interactive process of interacting with another person. The most important thing that participants get in such a performance is an emotional experience and meaningful insights. The participants find themselves in circumstances where they can experience unusual and sometimes challenging situations.
This is an experience of revealing oneself from an unexpected side. Immersive theater creates a safe space where we find contact with our deepest narratives, memories and impulses and experience strong and sincere emotions through the actions. About the process: You will be working with an unfamiliar partner through the sensory sensations of self, partner and space. As for the rest, let us surprise you! At the end of the process, there will be group reflection and dinner.
About the facilitator:
Ella Tereshchenko graduated from the St. Petersburg Academy of Theater and Film in Russia and became an early member of Adasinsky’s Derevo Theater Troupe. She went on to co-found Leen Teatro, which represented the Czech Republic in international theater festivals performing all over Europe. She earned her MFA in directing from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she also taught acting. After graduating, she directed and performed in experimental productions in New York City, Honolulu and St. Petersburg, Russia. She has facilitated acting workshops for actors and non-actors using her unique approach. Besides being a theater professional, Ella is also interested in transpersonal and integral psychology. She participated in seminars and workshops facilitated by Tatiana Ginsburg and other experts of transpersonal psychology and holotropic breathwork.
